Merry Christmas and Updates

Well all, here are a few things to give you updates.

Christmas was great! Baby got a blanket, wall decor,
bottle carrier, snugli, and dishwasher bottle container.
Baby also got a few neutral clothes!
Me and baby got a glider with ottoman!
Brandon got a "manly" diaper bag (addidas). And
mostly clothes along with that. These aren't pics of the
gifts, but I had to get the belly pics in somewhere!

24 weeks....

26 weeks...

Mo and Lucy got bones. Lucy doesn't care too much about hers,

but Mo won't even let you walk by her, or look
at her for that matter, without growling.... because
I want her bone you know! HA!

We updated my parent's plates, which they were excited
about, and Josh and Lisa went to California! Jason
got a new desk chair.
Brandon and I had our Christmas, just the two of us,
downstairs. Christmas music, tree lights, and village
lights, a cup of coffee (yes I cheated and had CAFFINATED
coffee...) it was so sweet. I woke up in the middle
of the night to see everything already lit, its a tradition in my
family to leave the lights lit Christmas Eve and I didn't light ours,
but he did! We had lunch with his parents and brother then
went to my dad's parent's house for Christmas on
Christmas day. Christmas Eve we had with my mom's parents
and Brandon's side of the family. It was a wonderful Christmas.
I'm going to be a little lame here and say, I was sad that we
didn't exactly have a white Christmas. Its ok that its snowing
the day after through today, but it makes me feel like we
still need to have Christmas!

Anywho, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

It's the most wonderful time of the year?

As many of you know, Brandon's good
friend Kyle Conrad passed away 6 months ago today.
He and his wife were married 15 months and were
both 23 years old. Well, while I was wrapping
Brandon's Christmas presents (and getting
very frustrated with the tape that kept sticking or
the paper that kept tearing when I wasn't wanting
it to) the song "Its the most Wonderful time of the Year"
began to play. I stopped what I was doing and just listened for
a minute. All of the sudden I found myself in tears! I was not
close to Kyle or his wife personally, but I still feel for her. Ironically,
"Blue Christmas" started to play after. We haven't heard
too much about how Chelsea (his wife) has been doing lately
but she (and the family) have been in my prayers
more and more lately. And though there are
many reasons to celebrate and be happy and excited
about this time of year, I find myself less happy and excited
the more I think and pray for Chelsea. But at the
same time, Kyle is celebrating CHRISTmas with the
One whom we celebrate at this time of year! I bet
thats one awesome celebration! However,
my heart is just breaking for Chelsea, so if you think
about it, please keep her and the family in your
prayers.

Love to you all.
