Baby

As you know I'm preggers with baby number 2. The due date is March 26th, which is Kyle's first birthday. The doctor has said that baby girl is coming early, and yesterday she actually said, "any day now". Any day now. ANY freakin' day now! We wanted her to come March 18th, because its my great grandma's birthday, but then we thought how cute it would be to be born March 14th, because she'd be born the day after her daddy's birthday, but the day before her grandpa's. All of these dates miss Kyle's birthday, which is what we are hoping for.

I spent the whole evening Tuesday in Emma's room cleaning and making sure things were in order. Its not quite where it should be yet, but its almost ready. I feel so prepared, yet so unprepared this time around. With Kyle I had the hospital bag packed for about a month, the car seat in the car and ready to go, and gosh, basically everything was ready. My mom did the rest while we were in the hospital, and my dad finished Kyle's room. Even though we didn't build Emma's room, its painted, the crib is set (besides the mattress!) her clothes are in the dresser and closet, the floor is clean (but I'm sure I'll vacuum at least one more time) and I even have her "home bound" outfit ready. But there is just something about it that makes me feel so unprepared.

Tuesday night I couldn't sleep. I had the worst pain in my back and lower abdomen, I couldn't move without literally lifting myself to a sitting position, repositioning, and laying back down. Needless to say, i didn't really sleep that night. Unfortunately, the pain i was feeling was no where near contractions, just aches and pains probably from bending and moving so much in Emma's room. And there are still no signs (on the outside) that she is going to be here sooner rather than later. That's a mixed blessing.

We have another dr's appointment in a week and hopefully we will find out more, GOOD news, in the way of progression, because as much as I don't want to have TWO babies around, I don't want to be preggers even MORE!

Anyway, enough of unborn baby chatter, and onto my sweet little boy. He is going to be 11 months old tomorrow! I can't believe we have had him for almost a year now, and he just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter each day. :o) He's running around the house now, starting to say "oh" and making new letter sounds. I can't figure out if he is trying to say "yes" or "ess" but either way, he says it with a lisp. I hope that doesn't stick, but for now its super cute! No, I have nothing against people with a lisp, I have some great friends with lisps! I just don't want Kyle to have one of his own :o) He definitely has a mind of his own, and he likes to "show his strength". I'll try to get a pic of that to post sometime.

Kyle recently had an ear infection caused by 6 teeth trying to pop through all at once, ouch! He is doing much better now though and he is back to his usual stinker self! I love my baby boy.

I am so blessed.

"I know, can you believe it!?"

Well, today is February 11. This is nothing significant, but it means we are one day closer to meeting our baby girl. I have many mixed feelings about this. I am excited, because I DO NOT want to be preggers anymore OR EVER AGAIN, and her birth will mark the end (Lord willing) of ever being preggers again. On the other hand, its almost MID February already and this baby is coming anytime... Ok, by "anytime" I mean 4-6 weeks. 4-6. I say 4-6 because 6 weeks is what the Dr. thinks I have left, but uh, I know when this baby was conceived, and that means I only have 4 weeks left...

You know what that means? In 6 weeks my baby boy will be... oh my, a year old. This may not seem all that significant, but I can remember vividly the details of the day he was born, like it was just yesterday! And not only that, but we will have TWO babies...

Life is going too fast and I am just not ready to hop on board!

This is just a cute little subject change for ya, the other day Brandon went to Bethel to help him mom out with a "big bad bow" (nerf toy) and he took Kyle with him, its for a project involving "Cinderella" (play) that the school is putting on. Anyway, I guess they are also making crowns, because Kyle came home with his very own crown. He is my precious boy even if some of the "gems" on his crown are, um, Pretty Pretty Princess-like....

he is so thrilled...

My two guys!

Cell Pics to Update

Kyle had experienced the horse ride with Grandpa, but didn't seem fond of it, so Daddy rode with him this time!

Kyle bit himself. I don't know why, but it made him rather angry after he did it. Stinker.

This is Kyle trying to restock the shelf at Target. It was the happiest he had been that whole trip...
He decided he was the only thing worth putting on the shelf, I'd buy him in a heartbeat!

Kyle holding a pencil to modify his gun, just like Daddy modifies his nerf guns.

He picked it up by himself and just started going at it!

This is where it got a little tricky. He really got into it here. Also, that is a cap gun... and "loaded".

Decisions decisions! What should we eat!?

Uh Mom, I just don't know what to eat!

These pictures are also on my facebook, so I am sure if you've been there, then you've seen them. I cannot believe how big my little babe is getting. He is 10 months old and time is flying by! I can't get over the fact that he will be one soon! He's got such the personality too, I don't think I can even put into words his character. I love my little boy "to the moon and back" and then some. He is just a perfect fit into our family.

I still have more pics to update, but they are on an actual camera, which I do not have with me currently. So, until then, enjoy the above!
