So, since I started exercising, I've had to quit. I was so proud of myself being very regular with it and eating really well on top of that... well, just a few days ago after I exercised I had some massive pain shooting through my back and hip. I've had this pain off and on since I was pregnant with Kyle and lately it seems it is only getting worse.
Well, it hit me. The last time it happened was the last time I exercised. And the time before that? When I exercised. And before that? When I exercised... I'm such an old woman. So, I've found that if I do little activity through out the day I can actually survive without much pain! BUT I feel so lazy.
A trip to the chiropractor is in my near future, and I am freaked out. I know they help make things feel better, but not without it feeling worse first! I literally become paralyzed with pain at times. So to imagine that again scares me tremendously, but what I think I'm most scared about (which is highly unlikely, but still goes through my head) is that they'll tell me there is something else wrong!
Anyway, on a much different note, Emma has decided calling me "mommy" is only if she is repeating someone, she likes to call me "mom" instead. WHAT!? My baby girl skipped her baby talk and went straight to MOM!? If you are a mother you probably know that sinking feeling you get when your baby has decided to grow up over night and mommy is no longer a word in their vocabulary. And all their words are so clear cut and they speak as if they've always spoken with such grown up words and full sentences! She only JUST started calling me mommy, and then the next day was calling me mom.
Next month, like 3 weeks from today actually, I am going to Tennessee for about 36 hours for a wedding. I am really excited to go, because my friend who is getting married has been my friend since 6th grade and 8th grade was the last time I saw her face to face! I miss her so much! It is also going to be the VERY first time I have EVER stayed away from my kids AND hubby. I will be completely alone on this trip. Flying, sleeping, driving. I won't know many people at the wedding either, just her family, so it's going to be way out of my comfort zone. And though I keep asking people to join me, I'm sure it's going to be a great trip and time to myself. And much needed at that! Maybe I can read and finish at least one book while I am there. Nap when I want to, eat when I want to, sleep as late as I want to. And hopefully utilize the exercise room! And pool. And do what I want in the pool. And DO WHAT I WANT. I'm actually pretty excited....
**Disclaimer: But for anyone who would like to join, feel free. I'd take the company :o) Lauren... Bean... Abby? Anyone?
And finally, the resale. A complete success! We sold a great amount of clothing and it went really smoothly! We had about 9 sellers, which I know, it's not a lot, but a great start! Then people were coming through pretty steadily throughout the entire day and a lot of them said they came from a previous resale and garage sales etc! We had a great first resale turnout all around! We hope to do this again in the Spring, but depending on what we can get seller wise we might only start out doing them once a year. Thank you to all who helped out, donated, sold, and bought! Look for us again!
Life has been busy. Kids are growing like weeds. Kyle for sure misses his Uncle Jason, he is continually asking to see him. Maybe a trip to Oregon is in the near future...!

Cedar Road Children's Resale!
So this is what life consists of this week.....
Clothes, toys, hangers, pins, boxes, oops more clothes, batteries, bins, oops more clothes.... organize, rearrange, promote... I can't wait for this resale to be over, but at the same time I'm nervous for it to come!
This is our church's first children's resale and we were
A.)hoping to get more things than we did and
B.)hoping the advertising was good enough to bring in more people than we think....
The kids have been great through all of this, letting us work with making/getting into little to well, just little trouble! :o)
So if ya'll think about it, come out on Saturday between 8am and 1pm to check out some gently used clothing, toys, books, games, puzzles, baby gear and more! We'd sure love to see you!
Also, visit us here or here for more information! You can also email cedarroadchildrensresale@gmail.com or call the church at 255-9346
See ya there!
