Time

Amazing how fast time flies! Emma is 4 months old. Kyle is almost 16 months old and he is "talking" so well! He can say "Josh" like a pro, so cute, and "grandpa" sounds like "da da" with emphasis on the first "da" rather than the second. He says "outside" as one syllable instead of two, and so much more! He's got "please" down and even calls Emma "sis"! I love it. I love him! I can't believe how quickly he is growing!

Emma too! She rolls like a champ from tummy to back and plays with her feet ALL the time now! She has almost conquered rolling from back to tummy, but those darn feet distract her every time! She's also decided that nursing is overrated, when it isn't completely quiet or in the EXACT position she wants... our ideas on a comfy position don't match either, so thats... fun?

Brandon and I haven't taken a "vacation" since our honeymoon over 3 years ago. We are in need of a good vacation. SO, for our very first vacation being married, and as a family of 4, we are going to Indy for a week end. We have a wedding to attend 1 day, and thankfully ONLY attend, and Friday and Sunday we are free to do as we please! I can't wait! We booked a two room suite and I just hope its as fun and relaxing as I'm hoping it will be!

Life is definitely crazy these days, and finding time to myself is slim to none. It was already that with Kyle and now with two little ones keeping me busy, its even harder. And no, I don't even get "me time" in the shower... Kyle has this thing where if I go behind the curtain, he HAS to come with me, or he will be screaming the ENTIRE time I shower... I figure a quieter shower time with him is better than a loud one without him. If I could just get Kyle and Emma to nap at the same time, we'd be in business! Maybe one day...!

I also started working last week. I have only worked two days, with Lauren, and so far I like it, and find it to be fairly easy work! It will be nice to have a little extra income for awhile while Lauren is on maternity leave. I'm pretty excited to get out of the house 3 times a week, even if it is only for a short while. I can also bring Emma with me, and my grandparents/Brandon are available to watch Kyle. So still no daycare! God is so good to me. I am also going to start cleaning for my dad's cousin here in the near future. Its only twice a month but I can bring BOTH babes with me. So I can do that any day at any time.

I am excited for some changes in the near future with friends. My best friend Bean is moving back here with her new hubby and I can't wait! I love having her so close and being able to hang out is such a blessing, I love her!

Just a Quick Note

Hey all! Its been a long while since I have been able to write. As you've seen, we had Jamie's wedding the week end of June 18th and 2 the following week end. If you haven't seen it on my facebook, Kyle had his first dancing experience at a wedding and we got it on video!

Emma is growing so fast, yet it feels so slow at the same time! Mostly because she and Kyle are so different at this stage in her life. Kyle was already trying to sit up on his own, and figuring things out like how to use a rattle, and was rolling over all the way and man! Emma is just right on schedule that it feels like she is growing slowly, yet when I look back I realize how quickly she is actually growing! She will be 4 months old on the 20th! ALREADY! I can't even believe she's been here for almost 4months!

I start working for Lauren while she is on maternity leave on Monday. I will be working with her for a couple of weeks and then by myself for a couple more then COMPLETELY on my own after that! I can't wait to meet her little baby girl! I can't wait to share (as much as I can anyway) baby clothes! And play dates! And advice (giving and taking!) and life with someone else in "my boat" with 2 babes!

Life is in full swing! God is so good! I am so blessed!
