Beautiful Babies

Maybe I am biased, but I have beautiful babies. They are both so happy, most of the time, and I thank God everyday for their health. They may not always be the best travelers in the car, the quietest "talkers" or even the sweetest (ky is going through the "mine" stage...ick). But today while cleaning and decorating for fall, love love love fall, Kyle was taking the duster and doing silly things like poking Emma's tummy, or cuddling with it, and making Emma laugh and laugh. My little ham. The other day in the car they were just looking at each other and laughing. Doing NOTHING. Just looking.

I am so blessed with these two, and my days are definitely not boring. Mama Pannabecker, you told me you prayed that you wouldn't have a boring life/family, thanks to you I prayed the same prayer. Sometimes I think, What did I get myself into! But other times I just sit back and watch what the Lord has given to me, that which I don't deserve.

Today I decorated for fall. I cleaned, CLEANED, and did 4 loads of laundry... yes, FOUR. I was feeling pretty proud of myself, until I pulled out the last load from the dryer. I bleached Brandon's favorite khakis. Bleach spots ALL over them... I was horrified! I thought he would for sure kill me. But my hubby, oh so gracious, thanked me for the work I do around the house and raising the children. He is a wonderful man. Needless to say, I think we will be going pant shopping in the near future...

Christmas is coming just around the corner... ya know, a couple months and a few days from now. Just around the corner. I love Christmas. From the snow (only on Christmas eve and Christmas day), to the tree, to the gifts I can't hardly wait for everyone to open. The coffee and famous breakfast, to my hubby and my kid(s!) reading the Christmas story before bed on Christmas eve. Not just any plain old story, THE Christmas story. Of Christ's birth. The WHOLE reason why we celebrate Christmas to begin with! The feelings and emotions that come along with Christmas, and dare I say, even the Christmas music! I can't wait to spend Christmas with two babies this year, instead of just Ky! DOUBLE the excitement! I will miss my brother not bringing his "Christmas cheer" this year, at least on Christmas itself, but I'm sure he is completely capable of celebrating in Bend.

Well kids, I need to go to bed. I just thought I'd update before I did so. Here are some pics of my precious lovelies...

Crawling

Emma Cristine, at 5 1/2 months, before her big brother, if you can believe that, is crawling. Well, now she is 6 months, but she started 2 weeks ago. I can't believe she is 6 months old already, let alone crawling! God has blessed me with two smart, happy, healthy babies. I couldn't ask for any better a blessing.

**If you haven't seen her crawl, Brandon posted a video on his facebook of it... check it out!**

Time to Myself

I have time to myself. MYSELF! BOTH babes are sleeping right now and ya know what? I am doing laundry and updating this blog. Does anyone know how amazing and fulfilling this is!? If it wasn't 6 in the evening, I too would take a nap! But the grocery list calls and other duties are necessary...

On a less happier/accomplishing note, I miss my hubby. He is in school full time and working 20+hrs a week and we don't see him much anymore. I can't wait for another break so we can spend more time together again. This past week end was a nice retreat from the norm.

We went to Indy for a wedding and hung around an extra day and a half to enjoy some family time. We had a great time in Indy and at the wedding and spending time together as a family. If only time and money offered more of this, I'd do it a lot more. Our next endeavor wont be until Thanksgiving. Which will be an overnighter (hopefully the schedules work out!) in Gas City with Brandon's cousins, brother and his fiance!

Then you know what happens after that? CHRISTMAS! :o) Not counting down the days yet, just the months ;o)

Crazy Busy Days

With all the pics I post of my babes sleeping, you'd think that was a common occurrence at our house... ha! For the last month or so, Kyle has been waking at least once in the middle of the night and for some reason waking earlier than usual. Emma used to give me great nights, now her usual night consists of waking every 1.5-2 hours, if I'm lucky. Sleep has not been something we have been getting around here, and my kids still aren't napping (at least not for long if they do) at the same time!

Brandon started school last week. He is doing well so far, its only been a week since his first day, but he seems to enjoy it at this point. His work schedule got knocked down to 20hrs a week and I'm trying to pick up the slack where I can to help out financially. I've been working for Lauren for a few weeks now, but my last day will be the 30th. SO, I will lose a huge chunk of pay. I just recently started working at the church one day a week and twice a month I will be cleaning my dad's cousin's house. I just have to remember, God is in control. He will provide, He always does. I feel like more money is going out than is coming in, scary!

I've been dealing with two very fussy babies. Kyle is teething like crazy (I think his last few teeth wanted to all come in at once). Within a week of his 15 month check, he had 3 molars break the gums. They are pretty much all the way through, and now he has his "fang" teeth coming in. I hope we will be done for awhile after that! Emma is generally pretty chill, but I feel like lately she is starting to teeth as well. She hates her rice cereal all of the sudden and hates eating from a spoon. Solution? I actually got her to take it from a bottle! However, that's all she will take from a bottle.

Life is definitely crazy busy! I think I wouldn't know what to do if it wasn't! Sometimes I miss life without kids, only for my own pure selfishness, but I would never ever trade it for the world. I love being a mommy. Ask me about it again when we hit the teen years, maybe I'll change my mind. ;o)

Now for some random pics I just wanted to post.
