Well, just 3 days after my Induction post, I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Emma Cristine was born March 20th at 5:36pm. Less than 10mins worth of pushing and she joined our little family! Kyle is loving being a big brother, so far anyway :o) He tries to hug her, and kiss her, and hold her, and play with her... sometimes his love for her is more aggressive, but only because he gets so excited and come on! She's a newborn!
Last night I was telling Emma how there are so many who think she is beautiful, so many who think she is precious, and so many who love her. I asked her then, "but who wouldn't love you?" I burst into tears just thinking about the beginning of this pregnancy and how different it was all together than my pregnancy with Kyle. I do love Emma, I just never realized how my feelings toward the whole "situation" at the beginning of the pregnancy would effect me AFTER the pregnancy! I prayed daily that the Lord would protect her from my negative feelings, and I know he sure did. She loves to snuggle me. She knows I do, indeed, love her, and she's my baby girl!
I am so blessed. And I see it even more every day. God is so good. He takes the "worst" situations and turns them to good. It's not easy to see the whole picture when you are living in the moment. But I keep getting glimpses into the whole. I am so blessed.

To be induced or not to be?
Well all, I have scheduled an induction for March 22. 7:30 am at Memorial Hospital. Hopefully that means, no matter what, Emma will be here by Tuesday. We want her to come naturally, but I'm so scared that she will come on Kyle's birthday, or so close that we will still be in the hospital, so we opted for an induction just in case. Unfortunately, an induction doesn't mean she will for sure come, unless of course she is ready. We are praying that she is ready by tomorrow. One because I've been having those stupid random contractions and major cramping and 2.) because its my Great Grandma's birthday, she will be 96! Happy birthday Gma! We are hoping little miss Emma is not like her mama and stubborn, but rather, she knows that greeting the world sooner rather than later, at this point, is a much better choice for us all! :o) We've had long talks...
Prayers welcome. I'm a little scared to be induced!

Wow, Hormonal
So I just finished watching the "Cake Boss 'Baby Special' " on TLC and boy did I cry. First of all, all that stomach-y sick stuff I was dealing with the other day, has NOT gone away. So, I'm all emotional because of that, and obviously I'm preggers so that doesn't help!
They delivered a baby boy (which was a surprise) and named him Carlo Salvador. Carlo is Buddy's dad's name and Sal was a guy that use to work at the bakery, but just recently passed away. He also helped Buddy's dad from the beginning or close to it. So, it was rather sentimental.
Well, it got me thinking. Twenty days from today MY baby boy will be 1 year old. ONE! I can't believe we have had him for a year already! It was just yesterday that we brought him into this world weighing 7 lbs. 11 oz. and didn't even know where to begin once we got him home. We napped with him in our arms, we woke every 1-2 hrs to eat at night and he was just the perfect baby boy I could have ever asked for.
And now, he walks, runs, starting to say some words, he tries to feed himself his baby food, he already does finger foods, he mimmicks like crazy, he laughs, screams with delight, and has brought us so much joy and so much love! He is (generally) the happiest baby boy and always seems to put a smile on anyone's face whom he passes. The ladies all seem to love him at church (and the grocery store) and at the mall playground. :o) He is just Mr. Personality and such a flirt.
He is my independent little punkin who grew and is growing too fast. And now, we are days from delivering baby number 2 and I just can't even fathom the independence she will have. If she will grow as quickly, if she will smile as often, if she will laugh and make us all laugh with her!
I know she is a blessing to us, she was conceived at such a time when God thought we needed her. I don't see why, but I can accept that. I can't even fathom the love I know I will have for her, even if today it doesn't seem like I could ever love another babe as much as Kyle. My sweet baby boy. Round 2 came more quickly than we thought, and we are bracing ourselves for the little blessing to come.
Oh my goodness, the tears just don't stop once they start, do they!? God has blessed me so richly and I don't deserve a speck of it. Doc keeps saying we will meet her any day now... Well, I hope any day is sooner, rather than later. I'm ready now. I want to snuggle again with a little babe, I want to teach her to walk, to watch her interact with her big brother and to see their friendship develop. Ok Baby, lets do this.

Randomish
Just curious, why can't I use my gmail email to use blogspot when they are both sponsored by google? It won't let me change my email to the one I actually use, and its just a little frustrating.
Anyway, we went to the doc yesterday. I have progressed only half a cm. 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Its a good start, especially since we are still 21 days away from the due date... but I was hoping to hear further since I had been having those contractions. I'm so sick of being pregnant, its not even funny.
I spent almost the entire day yesterday and most of this morning in bed, feeling rather sickly. I slept most of that time too. Yet, I still feel super weak and so tired. I feel like I haven't seen my baby boy much either :o(
This was just a quick post to give ya an update. Going back to rest some more.

Antsy
Well today is Wednesday. It seems to be one of the longest weeks of my life because I have a an appointment friday with the doc and I just want to know if anything is progressing. I have been having random, hard, contractions, as well as the Braxton Hicks ones, but nothing seems to be consistent. Doc is certain this baby will not be born on Kyle's first, which I'm holding her to that!
Anywho, we are 24 days from the actual due date. That's just 3 weeks and 3 days. Did I mention I'm finally ready? Granted I was ready weeks and weeks ago... I will post more after my appointment friday, but I was just antsy to post a little about this since it has been on my mind.
Also, for the more exciting part of things, Kyle now says "oh" and "yeth" (yes) successfully, and correctly! He just won't say "mama" darn it! He starts, and when I try to get him to continue, he cocks his head and smiles and starts doing this "ta ta ta" thing. That little stinker! I love him sooo much though! I just posted these pics to fb but I will repost some here, because i love him and just think he is the greatest little baby boy I could have ever asked for!
