So, I just got back from my parent's house... I couldn't go
to bed before sharing this story. If you've never met my
brother and sister-in-law's dog, Lucy, you should.
She's something else. Well, tonight, she happened to go
downstairs where my mom, dad, and i were discussing
stuff about the basement. In the middle of our chat
Lucy just starts growling. It was low and not
very agressive... then it became louder, and
her hair on her back began to stand up!
I realized she was
growling at Shaniqua, our mannequin head that
one of my brothers had discovered back in the day.
I'd say "i dont know why we still have it" but if you know
my family, you know the odd happenings of things we find in
dumpsters, friends' houses, and so on.
Anyway, Lucy, she kept backing up and barking and growling
at this head, the whole time back hair standing straight up!
She's so brave, that when my dad picked up the head
and came toward her with it, she ran all the way upstairs
and REFUSED to come down until she "knew" it was
safe... oh Lucy...
