I guess he chose to go ahead and come on out!

So this week end has been super busy. But not with the "Norm". Thursday I went in for my weekly appointment and found out I was 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced. The doc told me that I shouldn't get my hopes up, but then asked if I was going to have a baby with her this week end. I laughed and said, probably not, but I hope so! LITTLE did we know that only an hour and a half later my water would break and we would find ourselves in the hospital! We finally got to meet a doc we hadn't had the chance to see yet, he was very nice and was there from early evening Thursday until 7am Friday, and then the doc I had for my appointment came in! She got to deliver Kyle Josiah at 11:07am Friday March 26. He is perfect. Brandon and i are so in love with him, that we are completely beside ourselves!

Last night was our first night home, and rather discouraging. I am breastfeeding, and so I knew I'd be awake trying to feed him in the middle of the night, but I didn't expect to feed him every fifteen minutes, because he would fall asleep and refuse to wake in the middle of everything. Finally, we snuggled up on the couch together and fell asleep from 1-5am this morning. He fed again, briefly, then fell asleep until around 6:30, fed again and we both napped from 8-9 then 9:30-11 on the couch again. I keep trying to put him in the swing or "by himself" where he isn't going to be held, to get him used to it, but he cries after a few minutes :o( We've had an emotional homecoming, but I wouldn't change it for the world! He is perfect in every way, and I could never love anyone or anything more. Here are a couple of my fave pics from the week end. I hope you enjoy, i'll update when I can!
