No pics....

I want to post all the pics and even video we have been taking this past month, but I've taken everything off the laptop and haven't downloaded any pics to the desktop! SO, maybe the next blog will actually have pics, and maybe something interesting to say.

Kyle and I (and daddy too!) have been having some great excursions! Brandon works mostly evenings now, so we get to spend a good portion of the afternoon with him, and both Kyle and I LOVE it! Kyle has also started rolling over, all the way, and trying to sit up on his own. He has successfully plopped himself out of his bumbo twice in the last 2 weeks and has started playing by himself for longer periods of time! I'm so proud of him! He is so great! He loves his jumparoo and even fell asleep in it yesterday. I do have a pic of that one for you all. Most of the pics I have to upload, actually, are of Kyle sleeping. He has been doing a lot of that lately too!

I used to feel "lucky" if I got a half hr to 45 mins in to do something for myself, well, now I feel lucky to get an hr or more! But do I nap!? NO! When Kyle naps, he goes down during my favorite afternoon shows, like The Price is Right, or Yes, Dear, or Grounded For Life. So, I stay awake and watch those as part of ME time. Lame, I know.

Not too long ago, I don't remember the dates, Brandon took two days off in a row at work so I could take a mini vacation. I wanted to do something awesome, but the thought of leaving my two boys behind for 2 full days was overwhelming to me. SO, the first day, I met up with Michelle (my sister-in-law) and we got pedicures (my first, loved it!) then we went to lunch with her parents, Brandon, and Kyle. I went home and napped, then later that night I went to see Charlie St. Cloud with my friend Rachel. Good movie, tear-jerker for sure.

The second day, I slept most of the day. I was just soo exhausted from the day before I guess! I did other things too, but I don't remember what they were. Brandon went over to Michelle's with Kyle, but I honestly can't even recall what I did. huh. Well, needless to say, it was relaxing, but I was glad to be back in the everyday stuff once it was over. I love my little babe and missed him even though I did see him!

Oh yes, I just remembered what I did. I hung out with Lisa! We saw the movie Eat, Pray, Love. Don't go see it. Then we hung out at her place with Josh. We also went "grocery" shopping. Crabmeat, supreme pizza, and moose tracks. Not all together, but delicious! It was quite enjoyable. Brandon and Kyle came over around 9 and we didn't leave until 11:30pm. Kyle was sleeping in Josh and Lisa's bed :o) What a cutie!
