Well, I have a few things I want to say, BUT I want to start with this....
My beautiful cousin Jamie is now engaged! As of yesterday she is vowed to be a married woman, to Tyler Moore. They are so great together, and (this is where I pat myself on the back) I encouraged the meeting of the two. To my surprise, Jamie actually made the first move! Good for her!
Anyway, So many things have been happening like boom, boom, BOOM! lately. We've been super busy with Christmas shopping, decorating, and preparing, that I feel like this week has snuck up on me so sneakily! The snow has been beautiful (a little scary to drive in) but beautiful nonetheless. Tomorrow we are going Christmas carroling as a family. Let the festivities begin! Wednesday isn't much of anything, but Thursday we start Christmas with Brandon's parents. Then Christmas eve (continued with his parents) then my grandparents. Then Christmas day! Ours, my parent's, my other grandparents. And somewhere down the line we will go to my Great Grandma's and then on to Brandon's extended family.
Anyway, Kyle will be 9 months old on Sunday (9months!) and he is trying to walk. Thats right, he will, very eerily, walk holding just ONE hand. He is standing by himself from floor to stand, not really even pulling himself up anymore, unless he REALLY wants up. He is 3 months from his first birthday... which means, I am 3 months from delivering baby number. Which also means we are 3 months from going from a family of 3, to a family of 4! I'm NOT ready for this. wow! Enough reminders. Kyle, is such a big boy. he's been "going to sleep like a big boy"... by that I mean, he usually wants to be rocked A LITTLE with A LITTLE bit of his bottle, but he pushes it away and wiggles until we put him in his crib. He fusses, then he's done and goes to sleep. So independent. Today he tried to feed himself by grabbing the wrong end of the spoon... with food already on it... and when that was unsuccessful, he grabbed the jar of food. While it was still rather full... then took his messy fingers and SMACKED them down on his tray. Then, of course, his fingers went RIGHT to his hair. Ick.
I love my baby boy so much! I wish he could be my baby forever! I can't believe he is going to be a year old soon. Life is changing tooo quickly. Or maybe it just feels so quickly because I am watching a little one grow right before my eyes? Either way, its too fast.
I do have pics to add of Kyle trying to help us with wrapping.... I'll do that when i get around to getting them onto the computer... next month maybe? :o)
