Cutest Babies in the World

Of course, we ALL think our own children are the cutest in the world, so why should I think mine any different? I have been so blessed to have a little boy and a baby girl. Kyle is saying almost full sentences (overnight!) and Emma is catching up.

I'm sure I've already posted somewhere that Emma's first words were "hot" and "ouch" but now she tries to say "uh oh" which comes out "uh uh" and "oops" which sounds more like "uch" which could be "ouch"... ;o) She is content to sit and play or crawl everywhere. She walks when we hold her up, but has no confidence in standing or stepping away on her own. Which is ok because even though she isn't walking, I still have to go in all different directions to chase down my children! She gets places, that's for sure!

Kyle, my sweet boy, has been telling us when he is "cares" (scared) and when he or Emma is "crying". One night he woke up just crying beyond belief. He yelled out "mommy! Daddy! CRYING!" As if we couldn't tell ya know :o) But he is a sweet heart. Just last week he started saying "Wob woo" (Love you) and it melts my heart EVERY time. He was sitting in the cart at the store and he looked up and me and said,
"mommy!?"
"yes, Kyle?"
"wob woo!"
He is just so darn sweet. He calls his pals, Owen and Cora, "Oween" and "Corn". And his Uncle Josh is pretty cool too! The other night he was asking and asking and asking for Josh, my brother. I told him we would play with Josh another time because he was busy or sleeping or working or-you get the point. Anyway, he saw Josh's picture and said, "Josh! Wob woo!" He must be one special Uncle! ;o)

Now, I love that my kids are growing up and saying new things and doing more and more, but to be honest, I really wish they'd stop! I love them as babies, not that I won't love them as they grow older! But they lose their innocence... and they talk back... and they become teenagers...and then one day get married...  I can't even think about that right now, I just need to enjoy the moment. As I write Kyle and Emma are finding great enjoyment in playing with the dog's cage playing peek-a-boo on either side. And now Kyle is getting into trouble for shaking it... Such is life.

I hope you all are enjoying the snow... I hate the snow, but my kids seem to REALLY like it... I may need to buy snowpants... and a warm pair! Yesterday I sat in the snow for 10 minutes, with Kyle on my lap, because HE didn't want to sit in the snow, while we watched the neighbor plow his driveway... it's really interesting stuff ya know.

Anywho, I just thought I'd give a quick update. Oh yes, and if you all remember, could you please keep my sister-in-law in prayer, she is going in for a spinal tap monday (1/16) and a spinal MRI tuesday (1/17). She's got some major issues going on, and the doctors don't have any answers. Also, my grandpa-in-law is suffering from cancer. They've called in hospice. Thank you all.
