Impatient

So, its been a little while.
Two weeks ago was my last doctors appointment of just
a regular check up. Its exciting and nerve wracking all at the
same time. Though the doctor agreed with the ultrasound
technician that Baby is more like a week, rather than three,
"older" than originally thought, they are not changing Baby's
due date. But now I'm at the point where, holy cow,
Baby can come ANY day now.... Though Brandon is determined
to get this baby out March 17th (yeah, 8 days!) and I want this
baby out for more reasons than one, I am not getting my
hopes up. Baby will come when Baby is ready, and I don't
think Baby will be ready in a little over a week... I will be, though!
Its so hard to believe that this is real! We are going to be meeting
our little one in just a short period of time! Its scary and exciting
all at the same time!
Well, Thursday I have another Doctor's appointment, and will have one
for every week until Baby graces us with his/her presence! Three weeks from
friday is the estimated arrival.

Here is what Baby looks like now... in my tummy of course!

Alright, now that I got that off my chest, I've had two showers
since I last updated. Baby got many items and is already so
loved and and so blessed (just like mommy and daddy) to
be part of such wonderful "families". I quote families because
though one shower was a biological family shower, the
other one was thrown by our church family. God has
done so much for us in the past year that we are so grateful for
and we just cannot believe how blessed we truly are!
On Saturday I had lunch with some ladies I used to work with.
I love these girls! They also brought gifts for Baby and we
just had a nice time chowin' down and chattin'. Ok, maybe
I'm really the only one who "chowed" down.. Speaking, of
chow, I think Puppy Chow would be a great thing
to make today, and if I had all the materials to make it
I so would.
Anyway, the baby's room is not yet finished, I feel like
its soooo close, but when I look at it, I feel like its sooo far
from finished. My dad is awesome though, and I understand
that even though he is working on the room he still has a REAL
full time job and other things he really does need to tend to. After
all, Baby can sleep in our room until Baby's room is ready!
This Saturday is Brandon's 24th birthday! He thinks he is
old, but I think he's not allowed to feel old until we are our sibling's
ages :o) Yes, I did tell him that.... Sorry loved ones, you are not
old! I do enjoy picking on ya though! For Brandon's
birthday we got him a wireless controller for his Xbox with a plug
and play pack. I will be making him a Gluten-free cake (I hope)
for him as well, and yes, a delicious WHEAT one for the
rest of us, with chocolate frosting!! When I say the rest of us,
I think it will just be me and my dad eating the other other cake. And
when I say me AND my dad, I mean mostly me... :o) What
can I say, its been a month since I've had cake! ha!
I think that is all I have for now, I will be updating later if
the doctor brings any good news our way!
