Some things are just too hard to understand at first...

Well all, I just wanted to post about a dream I had in which I feel God was speaking to me.

Brandon and I and a couple of his friends from ECA were staying at his parent's house (which wasn't his parent's house at all, but a dingy, scary, dark dungeon of a "home"). In the middle of the night I had to go to the bathroom, the only one open was the one in the basement. *Side note* I am scared of basement's (ironic eh?) and I am also scared of the dark. I don't know why, but I am always afraid something or someone is lerking around the corner.... anyway, back to the dream.

SO I  go downstairs to the bathroom in the basement, the lightswitch didn't turn the lights on, so I had to go up to them and pull the little pully. I turned on the first one, which barely did anything at all, it was dimmer than a nightlight. I reached for the next one, and nothing. I reached for the next, again nothing. I started to panic and kept reaching, and pulling, reaching and pulling. Still nothing. Finally, on the last one I pulled, another light came on. Again, it was dimmer than a night light. I ran upstairs to tell my mother-in-law that the lights weren't working properly and I couldn't find the bathroom.

She told me that I had to use what little light there was to find my way to the bathroom, and once I got in there, the light would work. I told her I'd wait until later when the other bathroom was open and she said to me,

"Its like when God asks you to do something, and you can't see the positive in it. You have trust Him to take care of you even when you don't know where He is taking you."

Then she quoted scripture, and for the life of me I can't remember where it was found or what verse it was. All I know is that this dream was really speaking to me, you all will understand soon enough as to why. I just can't bring myself to discuss things right now. I just wanted to share this and ask for prayer. God knows the issues at hand, and when I am ready, you will as well.
