December. Ending 2011 in 30 days! (4 days ago...)

Well all, this has been one heck of a year. My brother moved to California, then to Oregon in January-Spring time. Kyle turned 1. Emma was born a week before that. We celebrated 3 years of marriage. We had to put Mo down due to kidney failure. Lucy tore up the walls/carpet... and Lauren's bumbo. I DIDN'T FIND OUT I WAS PREGNANT because I'M NOT!!! (Might seem silly to be happy and excited about, but really it isn't!) I started working. Brandon started school. Jason was in, and made it to the finals, Oregon's Last Comic Standing! Brandon's grandpa is pretty sickly. My grandpa got pneumonia and ended up in the hospital for a week. My dad lost his job. Here we are now, in December.

Throughout all of the sad we experienced this year, we've had a lot of happy. Our little boy is so happy, and sweet, and healthy, and so smart. He is growing up way too fast and even though I miss his BABY days, I'm so excited to see him grow and learn more and more. Our little girl is all of the above as well! Happy, sweet, healthy and smart! She is also growing up way too fast. I look at it and think, "GROW UP FASTER!" Then I look back and think, "Wow, she really is growing up rather quickly!" God has blessed me so richly. My Hubby is going to school full time and still working 20+ hours a week. He has so much on his shoulders, and I am thankful to have him around.

Christmas is generally something I am so very excited about. To be honest, something has changed that makes me not even care so much, as usual, about it this year. I don't know why, or what. I am excited to watch Kyle and Emma as they dive into opening gifts this year, well, Kyle moreso than Emma. And that makes my Christmas joy complete. It's rather somber.
