We have fears of the unknown. We have an uncertainity, will it work? Can I find a job? Can my kids survive? Can I survive? We have a big God. A BIG GOD... Romans 8:28 says "God works for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to His purpose." We are still figuring out what God's purpose is. But He has provided every step of the way. He has brought us through thick and thin, through each turn, each fork, every bend in the road. Proving over and over again, that we are where He wants us, and going where He leads. Ultimately, we don't know what is going to happen even tomorrow, but God will be there. As always.
I've been trying to decide on what to do with myself. Keep working, keep "workng" or just stay home all the time. I love my kids, but we all need a break sometimes! :o) I'm still unsure if this incident with my foot is God leading me away from these work places or just a bump in the road. Or maybe to find a new place of employment? Sometimes it's easy to be confused about who's voice your are actually hearing; yours or the Lord's.
Anyway, this is just a short entry and update. Oh, and by the way, the news I didn't think I could really share much of is this: Brandon had applied for an internship with Starbucks, which would have taken us to Seattle this summer. Do to much confusion and non-communication, we figured that's not where God wanted us. Then another internship LITERALLY fell into his lap. Via email and laptop. He started there yesterday and it it is also paid, though he still has to work at starbucks for insurance purposes, we are grateful for this opportunity.
The other news is that we are "losing" a set of grandparents to Hawaii. We are excited for their next leg of adventure and whatever God may have in store for them! But we are sad to see them go so far. The kids haven't quite grasped that they wont be around the corner any longer, but I have to admit, I'd much rather visit with them in Hawaii than south bend :o) So, with all that said, I'm peacin' out!
a post- yahooo!! :) still so happy how that internship worked out! amazing!
