Today is....

This week end was a very busy week end. So, lets get started.

Friday, at work, a child was climbing on the floor (3 years old) and went under my feet. I was attempting to step around the child, when I twisted my knee from almost stepping on her. I didn't realize how this actually affected me until softball.

During softball, I was playing catcher. A couple things; 1.) I closed my eyes everytime the batter swung, I was so scared I was going to get hit. 2.) I crouched down for 3 innings, but only batted once. And finally, 3.) I caught the ball MOST of the time the batter didn't hit it! Anyway, so finally after the 3rd inning, I told Matt (coach that night) that I needed out my knee was killing, I was even starting to limp! So, he took me out of the game after just a half hr. Kinda sucked, but I knew it was a good choice. Then I got to go to family night with the rents and see many family members I don't see on a regular basis.

SATURDAY
I was supposed to go to Kelly's bridal shower, but my car was in the shop and Brandon (who forgot about the car getting dropped off to him Friday night at work) got a ride home from work friday and to work Saturday... I was at home stuck! My mom said she'd give me a ride to get the car, but wait! I still have to get a gift! So my mom came later than anticipated and bed, bath and beyond took longer than anticipated... so by the time everything was all said and done, I still missed the shower. :o(

SUNDAY
We went to church and my grandparents (Silveus side) were there so that was nice to see them. Then after church we went to Brandon's parents for lunch and ended up staying until 4:30. So, since it was raining, we came home and hung out until 9 (for our anniversary) and ended up going to my parent's after that... It was a long day, but a good day. And just an observation, Brandon is a great Uncle, which I think means he will make a great dad.... someday! ;o)
